Cactus Wren

Asher Kelman

OPF Owner/Editor-in-Chief
OMG, Doug,

What a treat!

Your pictures really invite us to view the wren from so many points of view.

They seem to have suited themselves to the relatively protective spinet world of cacti for eons as they breed and don’t migrate and rarely seem to even assemble in a flock.

They have developed it seems harsh voices they use to confront and intimidate intruders and with gentle pecks have a minimal as feasible pre-mating ritual!

Your pictures are simply splendid and I feel I learned a lot from your generous sharing of your hard work!

Thanks

Asher
