I tried that, Wolfgang, but we do need the weight of the vase as a balance.
Still I will prepare a version as you suggest!
My interest here is learning as much I can about the generous linear texture of the leaves and the delicate silk of the flowers.
Having the flowers backlit by the setting sun, late afternoon, was critical in obtaining this composition.
Thanks for visiting and sharing your ideas. I really appreciate that.
