this old German tailboard camera brought a rare lens with it to the USA. It makes a lovely light trap. I play in my upstairs studio in the winter when it's cold outdoors.
Well Jim,
I can't just ignore your beautiful German camera. The nearest thing I have is a British tailboard camera with with a Taylor and Hobson brass lens. I need to repair the screw mechanism in the base as it's sort of jammed because of a split underneath in the base holding the drive screw.
I don't have a beautiful lens mounted to give such a delicate look so I chose a plastic bag with mineral oil in front of my G10 digicam.
Oh yes, this is not art!

Now who is good at woodwork with these 85 year old cameras?
