Cathy's Creek Falls overflowing

North Carolina had the rivers and creeks up over 4 feet with the rain in the past weeks and this falls is still way higher then normal.

I'd love to see more of the base of the rushing water by that rock. Hope you have more pictures. Was there any damage from all this rush of overflowing creeks?

Asher, something bothered me about the grey like shadows on the first under the branch. This shot is zoomed in more taken at a different time.
This falls is located deep in the forest on gravel roads.

Maybe too bright ? Might have to play with it later.

This is where the action is and the essence of the picture. It's much more demanding of our attention. I like this a lot. Water is hard to show well, especially with a relatively low shutter speed. More time needs to be spent on working the curves on the water than anything else.

This, however, is worth the effort and a shot in B&W might be enjoyable too, but I doubt as tranquil as this in full color.
