Hi There
Moving down in size from my usual subject matter of birds in flight and aircraft shots, but still keeping in the flying arena, i thought i would post a couple of shots of a damselfly taken today at RHS Wisley Gardens on the outskirts of London.
Its my 1st try at this sort of subject, and although i have the 100mm macro lens i was unable to get close enough to use it, so these are with the EF300mm F4L. I don't have extension tubes so these are close to minimum focus distance of 1.4M.
Depth of field is pretty minimal and they are handheld so not razor sharp, but would be grateful for comments from anyone who has more experience of shooting this sort of insect.
