This is an interesting photo, Eugene.
Overall, I like the composition and the general visual impact of the image.
But I think there are a couple of things working against you:
First, the Damselfly is, by nature, quite slender, and the view from above 'hides' its wings.
Second, the lack of color in this Damselfly makes it somewhat camouflaged against the rocks in the background, and the bright green colors of the leaves tend to capture the eye, rather than the Damselfly.
With this in mind, I might play around with a few things: perhaps crop a bit tighter, to make the Damselfly a bigger part of the image, and maybe play with black and white, as well as the tonality, to see if you can get the Damselfly to stand out a bit more.
So I think you've done well with what was there to shoot. Perhaps playing with some of the variables I mentioned could help maximize the visual impact.
