Eagle's are coming home.......

Well....the Male Eagle has returned to the nest once again. Usually gets here on Sept 1 or so. Female should be here with in a week or 2. Friend called me today with the news. Photo's taken at high noon but I wanted to get the first arrival pic's! This is their 8th nesting year.
FYI...male Eagles is missing a talon on his left foot. Makes the i.d easy.

Eric,

You have two amazingly simple but powerful elements of composition here. First there's the framing of the bird with boughs of the tree in the first picture. Then in this and the shots that follow, the radial patterns of the evergreen leaves provide a delightful and bright motif that connects the series so well. .... and then it goes without saying that Mr. Eagle is magnificent in all of them!

Hi, Eric,

Wonderful work.

The composition in no. 1 is especially nice.

As a matter of editorial practice, I hate to see the copyright owner identified in a copyright notice in terms of a internet domain name (although if that is how you are commonly known, it would meet the legal requirement - maybe that is the name of your business).

And don't get me started on that meaningless "www". Why anyone would want that as part of an Internet domain name is beyond me.

Best regards,
