Eggs

I'm looking for suggestions on what direction to take with this. I feel there's something there, but it's not happening yet. Any ideas?

I'm open to all suggestions. My intent is to create something visually intriguing, esthetically pleasing while unusual. I'm not sure how I can say it any more clearly (and I realize that may be why I'm struggling with it).

Excellent Rachel! It's much more likely to work for us if it really works for you and comes from inside your world of references and values. There's a feeling that what is shown is real and more than just a picture of something you happen to see.

Work with the angle and extent of seeing the fork. That's an important perfectly formed geometrical element and needs to be used optimally. That'c what you must find for yourself. The egg part works for me very well.

That's exactly the type of suggestion I need! Thank you.

BTW, Rachel, are you using a tripod or are the 1/15 sec and 1/30 sec just typos? The metadata is empty, :)

Of course, you could be using a 24-105 IS lens at about 30-50 mm and that's fine. Just wondering! I guess you don't want to use flash or a higher ISO!

Tripod, 24-105, and I'm not sure what the data aren't showing. Maybe it got lost somehow in the downsizing. I don't want flash reflecting in the eggs. for that reason I used natural light only.
