I have made the cruise on the Nile river, then the capital city Cairo, and finally the peninsula of the Sinai on the Red Sea. I have made many photos and I have put to them in my BLOG

Hi Luciano,

Grazie mille, for sharing those images. It looks like the lighting conditions were rather challenging. Depending on you possibilities, it is probably interesting to lighten the shadow areas a bit.

Luciano,

It's amazing these empires amasses power. Think how strong and invulnerable they must have felt feel at their height! But where are they now? These are impressive buildings and marks of a great civilization. They had a very good idea of a transition to an afterlife which has continued today.

As Bart suggests, you might perhaps consider working the shadows in the buildings and I'd add the lighting in the clouds. That would boost the picture.

Thanks so much for bring these important creations to us.

Asher

We do have a forum for writing about the background for such treasures. So we can also discuss the artistic, symbolic, political and social or historical importance of such work. If we do then we'll move the thread there.
