A shadow from one of the Pharaohs tombs and a Parisian resting on a noble girl, doubtless from ancient Rome. Between the pillars, another shadow sneaks by. You have a knack, Cedric, for snapping images that are from a time standpoint, untidy and not always in one siècle!

Hi Cedric,
You have always had a good eye for spotting the out of ordinary and your compositions reflect that. This one is no exception. By carefully placing the shadow of the statue of a women on the left column, and the pigeon atop the head of the other, you have created a duality in this picture which intrigues me. What is also interesting is the distorted sense of perspective since the shadow is much smaller than the statue on the right. This makes the one on the right look like a giant. All in all, I like the picture, thanks for sharing.
