An interesting picture. The religious paraphenalia (not intended disparagingly) shapes our interpretation of the man and is purpose. The cards interest me, their form and intent. Then the out of focus back wall - is than an urn or jug?

You seem to have access to something quite private, yet he isn't turning to push you away, but is accepting of being observed?
