The printer here is the Epson ET-2850U. There are numerous reviews of it (well, the ET-2850) on the Internet. They are mostly pretty positive.

Many of the reviews rate its photo quality as (to paraphrase) "not so hot" (just as for my new Canon G3270).

It does automatic duplexing.

Best regards,

Doug

I know they your Canon G3270 prints superbly on premium papers: hard to distinguish from images printed with the best pigment inks, as far as I can judge from my experience.

I am going to check this out with updates tests once I get new inks for my dormant large format Canon premier pigment ink printer.

I will try to find out if I can get the new Epson ET 2850U for review!

Hi, Asher,
I will try to find out if I can get the new Epson ET 2850U for review!

That would be good.

As I understand it, this Epson printer (like the Canon G3270) uses a pigment ink for the black and dye inks for the C, M, and Y.

Best regards,

Doug
