Late fall colors in Beverly Hills California!
We have mild temperatures most of thr year. It can drop to 50 degrees F on thr coldest days and reach 90 degrees F on rare exceptionally hot days.
Our fall is therefore late. Now we have abundant deciduous Oak trees with golden, ochre and yellow leaves. Thr grass borders of our sidewalks are covered with a new blanket of fallen leaves.
Here there’s an old Oliver tree in thr foreground which ignores the winter!
To thr right, a young California Oak has turned golden orange and has a large patch of fallen leaves below it.
However, thr far older California Oak in the deeper background is stubbornly evergreen!
