I was very pleasantly suprised by this. When I saw the topic, it gave a lot of mental images that were much, much less appealing than what you presented. Considering the well-walked territory of the content, you've really taken a very unique photo.

Beautifully done. Great focus and DOF. And I really love the depth of the green which contrasts very nicely the brown of this very alert young deer.

(Because the focus is so fine, I pretty sure I detect a modest antler bump above the eye so I'd be guess this is a young buck).
