Hi, Alain,

One of the many things illustrated by this fine (!) shot is the clever way that Arizona, on their plates, omits the saguaro that is part of the template (on the left-hand side) when the name or number string is wide (as in this case).

Here we see the template (with the "disabled" logo - handiest example I could find)

That's true, there's different types of Arizona license plates, with and without the saguaro. But in this case I, not the state, decided on this fact. This is a digital collage with the plate created with the Acme license plate generator at: http://acme.com/licensemaker/
