The river Thames has been part of folklore and the pride and history of London and west of the metropolis. Defenses are insufficient and water levels are rising each year. The current flood has necessitated rescue of over 100 people. Ice cream vendors have set themselves up for onlookers and rubbernecks often bypassing police signs!

This is perhaps just one of those fluctuations in chance, an unimportant cycle of nature or else part of a serious aspect of global warming. The picture here shows no obvious reflections, just some shadows of clouds. The water is muddy, evidence of the power of the churning violence of the overpouring river banks.
