Hi everybody :),

my name's Jonas Wendorf, I recently joined your forum :).

I'm a hobbyist Photoshopper who joined this forum because of some nice threads from Bart van der Wolf that were linked in other forums.

Currently I'm doing my A-level (I'll be finished in a few weeks), after that I'm going to study informatics on the Heinrich Heine Universität in Düsseldorf (which is pretty near to my current residence).

I'm also active in a few different Photoshop forums and also have a YouTube account on which I sometimes post video tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/jonaswtuts?feature=mhum (just in case anybody is interested ;-)).

In Photoshop I'm primarily focused on beauty and fashion images, but I also sometimes do (pretty bad ;-)) composites.
If you want to see my work, just click the link in my signature :).

So I hope we'll have a great time together :)!

Welcome Jonas, Good luck on your A levels!

I love your work! I wonder about your picture of the infant. Can you post it before and after retouch?

Hi Asher,

thank you, I'm glad you like it :)

For before and afters I recommend my deviantART account (I didn't want my first post to occur like spam, so I didn't post every link I have ;-)). Babysteps is this one here: http://jw-pixx.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d35ri4c
(I know this one is pretty extreme. I wanted to see, how far you can go with a simple outdoor shot :))

In most cases hovering over the image gives the before, clicking on it reveals a merged copy of the dodge & burn layers I used.

I like the work but the baby is a bit severe!! Can you make a softer gentler infant?

Of course :).

The next time I get to work on a shot of an infant, I'll do a little softer version. As I said, this was just a test, nothing I would do to every photo I get ;-).
