FS EOS-1Ds Mark II - SOLD

Hi folks

The EOS-1Ds Mark III has arrived and I have no more reason to keep my beloved EOS-1Ds Mark II.

In the "B&H Used Equipment Rating System" I would rate it 9.

I'll be able to post some pictures soon if some interest is shown.

Cancount counts 42481 exposures (will add some more for comparison shots with the 1DS3)
Firmware 1.1.6
Bought Nov. 2004

The only part that have some scratches is the flash shoe…
It will come with 3 batteries (one new) all stuff that came with, including box and manual.

I have always cared it and clean it as my little baby darling ;-)

PM me your best offer, shipping will be calculated later (I don't know where you are!).
B&H has one rated '9' for $5,299.00…

Will not ship prior payement (bank transfer is almost immediate). I guess I'm well known enough here…

I have also a Speedlite 550EX flash that can be sold… if you are interested, make an offer…

[EDIT]You can see it here [/EDIT]

Your sure you want to sell your Mk2? some reviewers are finding just a small quality increment to the Mk2. Also there is usually a big difference from what B&H sells the cameras for and what they will offer to pay when you walk in the store...

I think that to get a Mk2 for half the price of the Mk3 is probably the best deal of the coming months. A nice 16MP with larger sensel size.

It is interesting how the response to the multitude of reviews and mini-reviews has progressed on the forumsphere. Starting with DPReview guys that declared a tide so: "the Canon is the way to go not to cramp your style". They don't know that, for example, if you shoot tethered, the cramping goes the other way. Meanwhile the Medium Format posters at LL all declared that the rumors of the death of the Digital Back ...

Good luck with the sale Nicolas, and I wish I had the budget for a Mk2, it would be the perfect back up for my P1...

Hi Leonardo
I just can't afford having a DS2 as back-up to the DS3… maybe a 5D?

The DS2 is a wonderfull camera, the extra DR, less noise, focus speed bigger file is what I was waiting for…

On my side, I would love to have your P1 as back-up ¡!;-)
