Matt,

from me viewpoint, light and overall impression are good, but personally I would have wished that the black bars are replaced by parts of the view that are missing (for me).

What's so distinguishing about this picture is that there's a reflection in the long horizontal window that of the bright light in from the depths of the picture.

However, the lower quarter of the image distracts from that. So either one might consider cropping or else adding a white bar to separate the top 3/4 from the lower 1/4. Something to consider.
