A friend's daughter with a wonderful face. Everybody's going to tell me to crop out the window. I'd like to hear different opinions of the window. This is natural light.

Lovely portrait Doug. Contrary to your expectation, I would not recommend cropping out the window in this picture. It makes the picture much better balanced and introduces a context and beautiful light too. The nitpick I have is that the window displays the barrel/pinchcushion distortion of your lens. You can easily correct this in your new CS4 by going to filters>distortion>lens correction. See this example below I did for demonstration. Have fun :)

I love the window included as well gives some balance and while I am in no way" an expert as many are here the expression leaves something to be desired-
maybe try another-the girl is lovely and I am guessing her age is 13-14- there is in her face a beauty that needs to be found-her spirit- just my very humble suggestions-
