Lovely portrait Doug. Contrary to your expectation, I would not recommend cropping out the window in this picture. It makes the picture much better balanced and introduces a context and beautiful light too. The nitpick I have is that the window displays the barrel/pinchcushion distortion of your lens. You can easily correct this in your new CS4 by going to filters>distortion>lens correction. See this example below I did for demonstration. Have fun

I love the window included as well gives some balance and while I am in no way" an expert as many are here the expression leaves something to be desired-
maybe try another-the girl is lovely and I am guessing her age is 13-14- there is in her face a beauty that needs to be found-her spirit- just my very humble suggestions-
