Hello Everybody,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the group! I guess you could say I'm an aspiring professional in the photography business; eventually I hope to be doing real estate/interior photography full time. Currently I work in the marketing/graphic design department of a real estate community that is home to about 1000 homes, a small shopping village, and a world class inn and restaurant just outside of Chapel Hill, NC.

I have been lurking on the forum for a little while now, and I figured it was time I made it official. If anybody has any tips/advice/warnings about pursuing the real estate photography thing, I'm all ears!

Bonjour Sarah
welcome on board!
I can't help you in your field but I'm sure lot of guys here may do...

Maybe for a start you may post some images in appropriate fora (architectural should be one of them)

All the best

PS, where is Chapel Hill, NC ? for a non US resident it's often difficult to figure out wher you all Americans do live...

Not speaking for Sarah (I actually think I know where she lives outside Chapel HIll ), but Chapel HIll is in the eastern part of what we call the Piedmont in North Carolina--that would be about 2/3 across the state towards the eastern coast of North Carolina--which is one of the 'northern' Southern states LOL. That whole region of the state is growing phenomenally so she should do well once she gets established. The growth is due to a variety of things--its near 2 of our major universities, Univeristy of North Carolina (at Chapel HIll) and the North Carolina State University (both part of the same university system now). There is a great deal of medical and technical research in that area bringing people from all over the world.

Welcome Sarah (I"m in the western part of the state).

Diane
