Hello from New York

Hi and hello,
My name is John and I'm a street photographer from just N. of NYC. I'd love to say I shoot full time but after all, there is a mortgage to pay. Mostly I freelance, string now and then and pick up whatever comes my way, but the passion never dies.
I'm looking forward to participating in this forum. I've followed the posts for some time and this looks like a nice place to settle in. My compliments to those who admin and to the participants. There's a nice give-and-take going on.
I'll keep it short for now. Thanks for having me!
If you get a chance, stop by my website. It's a random collection of images. Haphazard. Sort of my approach to shooting the streets of Manhattan:

See you all later in the forums!
Warm regards,
John

Hi John,

I have just spent an enjoyable diversion on your website. There's an eclectic mix of subjects. I found B&W still life images amidst handsome animals in full color and then versions of architectural views of homes seen as if sketched in ink and colored with water color.

I was taken with so many pictures. The variation from pastoral scenes like this

a street musician, perhaps blind, we can only ask

or this young fellow at the zoo

shows a broad interest. I hope you sell these for stock too?

Welcome to OPF! I'm so looking forward to your seeing your work here.

Hi Asher,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed my images. Admittedly, the website's not been updated for some time. There just doesn't seem to be enough time!

Best,
John
