Hello from Prague

I am a photographer - amateur. In a past I shooted BW and ladscape photography with 6x6/120 film format and people with my old Nikon. I have nearly 30 years of experience in photography however I am new in the digital pohotography. I would never thought how different it is from a darkroom - chemical technology. Thanks to the digital technology I am now discovering world of colours, pigments and matt papers ... It is a great world. And one can find great people.

OPF raises in my eyes more and more everytime I get in. Not only for its content (its great!) but also as an example of how people get organised these days. I am senior consultant in IT management and Human Resource Management and this is something which allways attracts me.

I am very much impressed by way Asher and other moderators are managing the forum. It assures me that there is a great source of knowledge, interest, time and effort behind the OPF so one can expect continuity and future. Not so in other forum I joined and enjoyed - Pixmantec Forum. This forum has lost much of its value after many have recognised that there will be no continuity, no future. It is nice to find many (Kyle Nagel, Diana Fields, Dierk Haasis, Stuart Rae, MT of course and others) here in OPF now.

Hi Petr and welcome!

We have a few guys from Czech republic here but they are now Americanized! I just was in Prague this summet and enjoyed it immensely. It is a magic place. I would have thought Disney designed it except your castles are on such a larger scale. The magic is far greater (who else has a great clock with a huge gold medalion on it's front and disciples that pop out on the hour or have beggars who beg in a scheduled performance and seem to be part of a guild....or gang.

Anyway, we look forward to your pictures and input,

Asher
