Hi Matthew,

We are happy to have anyone with a passion for photography, but a Stanford guy is a real treat! Biology is very interesting. I must admit I hated killing frogs. I'd often let go before hitting the thing on the end of the bench to stun it, as we were instructed. The fellow leapt off, sometimes landing in the most hilarious places! For sure you wil have fun. What's amazing is that pieces of genetic code that switch on a mouse's front limb, can also switch on a perfectly normal wing in fruitflies lacking that gene! I've come to believe that even thinking of species is specious as we all share pretty well the same DNA.

You may notice I have, unfortunately, given you a lot of notes on your first pictures. Don't let that put you off!
