There's more here!

Look at the eye of the guy cut off on the right, (How dare you!!!!!), he might be looking at the girl. I think he is. So he's thinking, "She's special!" or just, "Wow!!"

See how the lines of the sexually ambiguous person with the backpack are the sharpest in the picture, (Good, it sets up a conundrum. Who's the man character?)

The curves of the back pack are the inverse of her figure and could ft alongside in harmony.

So we can cycle between different parts of the photograph and we get the experience of real life feelings as folk rush past.

Asher, I remember this capture very clearly. It is in Istanbul. Ayesha and I are heading to the Eminonu ferry port after having cut across the old city behind us.

I prefer to stay on the Asian side of Istanbul. Not the Touristy European enclave.

Ayesha has crossed this busy thoroughfare. Waiting on the other side. Screaming as the walk light is flashing, the ferry is leaving. I am in the middle of the zebra crossing.

I had originally focused on the woman behind the ' angry ' guy on your right. She had a lovely smile too!
I have them in the frame. I can also see this beautiful lady looking at me on the left.

I am undecided until now. Then I go for it. I swing the camera around slightly. The AF cannot lock.

I had decided to go for the young Bridget Bardot.

I'm amazed how it all flourished so well before the modern bridges! The sea of Marmura, in the time of the old city of constantinople, was the place where the Sultans black Eunoch's men would quietly row out in the night, then stop far out. A funnel of bubbles escaped as the large sack, weighted with iron, drew down to the depths a cheating girl from the royal hareem.

So this cannot be your Nikon D700! That would always get the shot! It can't be your M9 either as that has no AF! So what did you use.

The very fact that the ambiguous person with the back pack is so sharp makes the picture much more dynamic and helps get the eyes towards the staring eye on the right.

I was using her D-Lux 4. I don't have the M9. Cost; and I have called it quits for new camera bodies and lenses.

The 28/35/50/75/100 give me a choice of 2 or max 3 lenses that is more than enough for me.
Zeiss and/or Leica.

Either they break, or I am gone. I think the MP and the M7 will outlast me for sure. The D700 and
M8, let's see.

Well, then, it was just the right camera for the job! I am not sure that it would have been more effective with the girl in sharp focus. I really like this picture, and the extra slice of the man on the right, surprisingly, is all that's needed to complete this live sampling of that moment.

A title might be, "As my Wife Screamed at me to stop messing around"
