Start with a Flashpoint AD600PRO flash tube cover.

Then cut it off 1.25 inch from the open mounting end, then cut a .5 inch ring from the remaining end of the cover to use as a spacer Norman mount size. I used a 5/8 inch bolt to mount it on a lathe but you could use a hand saw or a band saw possibly even a pair of tin snips as the plastic is soft enough gust need to keep the cuts plum.
you need to cut the ring like a piston ring with tin snips so you can fit it over the first part, then glue it flush with the end, after the glue drys drill 2 small holes for the Norman locking pins to seat in.

Well I just learned the hard way to not use too much glue.

my first unit works but has glue everywhere.

Best to slide the ring un as far as it will go then put a rubber band to hold it tightly then apply the glue with a Q-tip swab then slide the ring to the final position then clean off the extra glue.

Here are photos of second attempt after sanding off the extra glue.

Both attempts fit ok on my AD400PRO & AD200/AD200PRO DUAL bare bulb unit!

Next to drill the 2 mounting holes.
