Howdy from Houston

Hi!

I live in Houston, Texas. I earn a living as a structural engineer, but photography is my real passion.

I've been seriously into photography for over 5 years. I love to photograph natural, wild landscapes. I also enjoy shooting wildlife.

If you'd like to see my work and find out more about me as a photographer, please visit my website:
http://www.texbrick.com/photo

I also have a photography blog going with the goal of posting something meaningful about once a week:

Thanks! I'm looking forward to participating here on OPF.

Hi TJ,

Welcome to OPF, I hope you'll like it here. I have quickly read your "Photographic style" and "Self made L-bracket" documents on your blog, it was quite an interesting read :).

Cheers,

Welcome again, Thomas.

I'm enjoying you photography. This picture reminds me of images I have seen in China with hills surrounded by a mist.

Hello Thomas. Welcome to the OPF. It's a place where someone such as yourself should feel right at home. I live in Houston as well, in fact, perhaps not too far away if you are still in the Copperfield area. I have seen some of your works previously through TPF and have been a big fan. Perhaps we will meet at one of the meet and greets someday and I can pick your brain on the secrets to these wonderful landscapes.

Thanks! That's an interesting comparison :) Thanks for that.

Hi James. Thanks! Yep, I still live in Copperfield. I've yet to make it to one of the NW gatherings of TPF, but that's something I'd like to do.
