Fahim,

So is there wrought iron grill work over the apartment windows or is this leaded glass? There are two major differences! One would indicated fear and the other a lost opulence. The ads themselves are hardly respected as they are partly obscured by the ever present laundry. Still, for kids, it makes alcohol seem one way of equalizing the ills of life. Happiness is not at the end of the bottle, just lost promises.

Charlotte, this was a small town in Nepal near the border with India.
Behind the drying clothes is a story of hardship, day to day survivival, faith, courage and honor.

I presume, dear lady, it is shaken and not stirred!

Asher, the grills are for protection. You and me share similar sentiments re. the drinks.

Thank you both for stopping by.
