Somehow, the Forum page disappeared and nothing I could do would bring it back. Meanwhile, I revised everything I knew about Platinum Printing, then built a new exposure unit and got to work being quite methodical in notation, testing, etc., until now I know within 3-5 seconds, the exposure, I have new chemistry from Bostick % Sullivan, and lastly, I found a better substrate in Revere Platinum paper over the old favorite, HPR. I did discover no matter the amount of ventilation, Sodium Bisulphite was close to being toxic for me. With help from Dana & Dick Sullivan from Bostick & Sullivan we've devised a clearing agent that does quite well and is non-toxic to my snozz.
My exposure unit consists of 20, 9w LED bulbs x 24" and my contact frames are 51/2" from the lights. Exposure is even all the way up to 11x17 and I suspect will cover the 18x20's I have in the wings for a special project I'm doing.
Anyway, I'm bock!
