James,

You whetted our appetite for such magnificent ice field views last year here. This picture brings us a wide angle view of the scene with the feeling of separate families or groups of friends forming an ad hoc community with no doubts carry-over memories from year to year.

No doubt, people look around and note that Jim and Conan are not around this year. Did you hear that Conans's son was over in Afghanistan and came back pretty stressed out.

James, this looks like this could turn into to some sort of photographic project. Your images of these caravans and huts do strike me as odd and strange in they're setting.
The polka dotted hut in this image is unusual and has an element of fun about it which contrasts with it's surroundings maybe; I would be looking to photograph that in some way, shape or form too.

Thank you for your wonderful comments Gentlemen!
Sir Winston Churchill Park just outside of Lac LaBiche Alberta Canada offers local family, travelers and campers lots of enjoyment year round. I spent a couple of winters in this general neighborhood recently and was out enjoying a bit of free time when I discovered this park. Unfortunately I won't be in this area to take advantage of the many different compositions and stories this place has to offer.
