iPhone versus 50MP Medium Format GFX for Still Life

I get complaints when I invest my time, effort and skill in developing an image concept with a mobile phone!

Here I was attracted to the bright red seeds that are pushed out of the dried remnants of magnolia flowers.

I paired them with dark plums.

So that’s the image straight out of the camera! Pretty satisfying to me.

What do you think?

I like the composition above. It provide context of our kitchen.

However I want to increase the presence of the bowl and the displayed magnolia seed cones and plums.

Now I have taken this seriously and processed the image first in Snapseed and then in Photoshop CC 2021

I am satisfied with this result. Do you feel there’s more presence?

But my very serious side revolves around my Fuji GFX and am sold on its rich color.

So I repeated my shots with the Fuji!

This 50MP GFX image has the most image detail and control of light in processing. Does it deliver on its potential.

I recently went from an Iphone 7 to a Iphone 13 pro, realy,realy like it !!!! I am sure you can spend your time doing as you wish Asher without the need to worry about silly complaints. I love that plate too!

What I like the most in this shot is the plum on the right with it's almost transparency enhancing the inside red.
Curious how you Asher, can perceive and get subject matters from trivial objects like the ones here.
When I look at these shots - regardless the camera, lens, photo... - I feel I am not attracted to this kind of subject but on the other hand I like what you do.
Perhaps I am not explaining myself as I would like to, but ...
One of these days, I have to try something similar. Oh well...
