Klaus, I think you're right, this lens works perfectly for these subjects. I think very highly of your flower photography, but it is nice to see something different for a change.

As Jarmo points out, the lens choice is perfect for these compositions. The ability to rank things is one of the most important qualities that animals develop in order to deal with environmental resources and channels.

To often, in describing modern lenses, we hear of complaints of light fall off or that corner sharpness is below the central axis results! However, most esthetically pleasing photography, I'd wager, has conscious allocations of attention by one means or another.

With your old lenses, you delight us in gently bringing to our attention your subject in such a deliciously interesting way, like ,

"My friend, I've a little surprise. Let's walk over to that tree over there. Yes, those two young women with the parasols. Come along! Let me introduce you to my beautiful nieces, Nicole and Francine. They want to model for you!"

That's how your lenses work for us!
