Shooting nudes requires a place where the model feels safe. So I prefer a studio setting, although I will share with you, later, how I shoot in Public places.

I love the French printers who showed women bathing, dressing or musing with a mirror. It creates such an aura of a more relaxed life!

Here I haven’t cropped or processed the shot so you can again see my studio setup with a light from the upper left, backlighted her.

I try to use simple setups so I can get going without fuss.

I don't shoot nudes, especially since I have no studio, but it's interesting to see yours; very cool!

She’s from Hawai and she’s retiring shortly with her boyfriend for a repeat. I have ordered a newer mirror as this one has some film on it!

Also I am not sure about the pose of her leg. Otherwise I love it!

I like to share shots out of the camera as that reveals more of how I worked with the model in my studio setting. It admits that it’s a work in progress!

Thanks, John,

I like adding ideas to a pose, although, many photographers of nudes go for purity of the form instead.
