I was a beautiful warm weekend, Autumn is beginning (my favourite season) hope you enjoy them....
Bonjour Janet
Nice shots!
Dunno why but they look typically British to me (a compliment, of course.
May I ask you what software you did use to extract your raw files?
you mentioned Capture One to me previously, I keep meaning to give it a try, but I've been so busy processing, I haven't had time yet, do you think it performs better than DPP, if so why?
to give it a try ;-) If you want, send me (thru yousendit.com) the 1st or the last one, I'll find some minutes tomorrow, I'm just curious, but I think your files do desserve an even better IQ…
Absolutely beautiful.
#s 1 and 2 are late Summer; #4 is definitely Autumn. I like the symbolism of #2, but #4 is my out-and-out favourite.
All lovely, 3 and 4 are my favourites and speak of the autumns colours and harvest. I agree with Cem's comment on the oof background for number 2. Perhaps keep a wider aperture between shots![]()
Number 1 is very much yours - lovely delicate colour and great light again
#4, of course. It has compositional power:..... A very good precursor to the upcoming season, Janet.

#4, of course. It has compositional power: Wilted survivors of the summer heat who've earned their colors and the right to languish because they are dying most appreciably now. They are hanging in a pre-autumnal hospice, but content as life was good. A very good precursor to the upcoming season, Janet.
Hi AsherThe compositional motif is rather of a clothing rack in the dry cleaners with seasonal fashion changes lined up for delivery
