It’s an unusual and unexpected presentation and captures one’s imagination.
Cyanotypes are created with iron salts that turn blue with exposure to UV light and then washed with water.

I sometimes "develop" in 100% vinegar though mostly I add two tablespoons of citric acid to 2 liters of water. I give a liter for a 5 minute wash, then rinse and continue with the second liter of water before washing for 30 minutes.
