This was taken on a very early morning the other day, the guy walking into the shot, on his way to work really pleased me and was a welcome intrusion.

Paul,

The man waling through will have to penetrate the space William has commanded between him and his shadow. That is an effective hook to draw us into the picture and not pass by!

Hi,

I really like the position of the statue and its shadow within the frame. Maybe you could crop a little on the left to give your picture more dynamics ?

Cedric.

Cedric,

I looked at your suggestion and am impressed how it activates the man approaching the monument so he's the important even arriving, not the monument being so important and him approaching it!

The man must be French!

Also,

As this series develops, and given thatw e don't have the opportunity to walk around an exhibition of prints, have you thought about putting up a slideshow on flickr or somewhere. I think they would make a good body of work for that purpose.

Mike, I do hope to get a website up and running and will do what you mention on that. In the meantime I guess, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do something like that over on Flickr.
