Macro shots - Take 2

New member
I was having problems focusing manually on the first shots that I took (see http://www.openphotographyforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11007). I recently switched from tri focal glasses to contacts in hopes of being able to see better thru my viewfinder. It was worse....until I remembered that the doctor prescribed one eye for reading and the other for distance. While my images are still not as sharp as I want, I do like the results, now that I am looking out of the correct eye.

Wayne, let them bee!

I don't do macro as such but can appreciate the patience and skill required. With my eyesight the leaves would have been in focus.

Do you use a stand or handheld?

Best.

Thanks Fahim! I wanted to use a monopod or tripod but he was such a "busy bee" he wouldnt stay still long enough for me to set one up. I did these, hand held and upped the ISO so I could use a faster shutter speed.
