Miscanthus grass in the wind

Both taken with 20D (5D poorly and gone for service!!) + 100 2.8 lens, I really like the texture of both these subjects, it was also a grey gloomy day in my garden, so b & w + texture seemed to be the order of the day. What do you think?.......

I love the texture and tones in your images. The subject in both draw me in but the first image of the seed head is my favorite. I sooo would have this hanging on my wall.

I like the 1st better than the 2nd.. the 2nd could maybe use more separation from the background. The 1st is just right...

Well I was out in the garden again yesterday, please bear in mind it was very windy so getting these was challenging...

I'm becoming a bit obsessed trying to get a good photograph out of all these dried, faded, seed heads, their texture and movement fascinates me, not managed to get what I wanted out of them yet, so I might have to bore you all with attempt 3 (sorry).....
