My last foray over to St Marks NWR provided some great cloud shooting. This one is a B&W conversion as it seemed to suit the subject best.

Just fabulous, Chris. We are having cold wet weather here, but just a lot of full cover clouds, nothing beautiful or dramatic like this. Simply magnificent!

The outstanding skills you have are in the goals you set yourself to discover and then completely frame the beast of the subject in all its royslbsplrndor and magnificence and projected aura!

So few photographers can stay away from injunctions to frame tight and then crop further.

You allow the entire cloud to be shown and I take that as exceptional respect for the entire essence of the cloud complexity, layering, gradients and contrasts.

This generosity and care results here in a work of exceptional beauty! Kudos!
