When I was in the wonderful tourist/historic spot known as Enoshima, (about 100km south of Tokyo), I could not resist taking a photo of Mt. Fuji and using the 20x zoom on my G10 - it's not perfect, but it came up rather nicely:

Damien, I too have experienced Mt. Fuji. The grandeur of the mountain is difficult to capture in a
photograph. It's spirit...impossible.

Thank you, Fahim. Yes, Fuji-san is an incredible scene to behold, with a spirit as elusive as understanding its mysteries - when did you last visit Japan?
