This is a gem of a find, Will!

it seems in such great condition and high ASA color film is still available!

Looking forward to you tuning a roll through it.

I wonder how they modified the original binocular or whether this was an entirely new optical and case project dedicated to this new purpose?

Got the first samples in with 3200 ISO B&W film.

Had a few camera shutter problems as well as film scan issues with the film lab!

Here are the best representative photos of photo quality possible when everything turns out ok!

These are full uncropped 1/2 frame photos downsized for this site.

They are around 3 megapixel in Rez.

Obviously shot in my backyard.

Doug Kerr helped me by determining the equivalent 35mm focal length taking the 1/2 frame into account at around 450mm

What settings?

Any instructions or is it automatic? Or do I need a lightmeter or a God formula?

Sad to say I am waiting with baited breath for this camera to come back from repair!

It had 50 years + of haze in the glass & the shutter was intermittent due to lubricant that has turned to glue over the years!

I like the idea of shooting and having a small optic. It provides a novel interface between a persons mind and the outside world.

Cameras mostly record!

Yes, cameras can but compact binoculars are designed to hold longer and to explore!
