MY PORTABLE MACMINI SETUP
I’m heading off to do some dog sitting for my daughter for a week, and want to continue doing some serious work while gone. My iPad just doesn’t cut it for doing coding projects while connecting to localhost using Mamp server setup —— nor am I able to organize and edit my images with my preferon1 Photo Raw application. I don’t have a laptop, which would accomplish this and don’t really need one for the most part.
So I have benefitted from taking along my MacMini along with a 15” portable screen that I purchased for this purpose, a couple of years ago. Last time I set this up, I used my amazing Logitech Master Keyboard and Mouse from my workspace setup at home. Along with a Bluetooth speaker for sound.
The latest additions for even added portability are a matching hub with internal 2TB NVME drive —- and coming in from Amazon a couple of days ago is the much smaller and easier to travel with Logitech Pebble keyboard and mouse that provide a really nice experience as well.
