Will's recipe de casa indeed looks appetizing.

For the Stouffer's product Will mentioned, for the entire 20 oz package the listed calorie content is 790 (food) calories (those are of course actually kilocalories).

It states a "serving size" of 225 g (about 7.9 oz, described as "one cup"), for which the listed calorie content is 310 (food) calories. (That all works out to about 2.5 "servings" per 20-oz package.)

The total carbohydrate content per "serving" is listed as 34 g.

For the Hormel product I mentioned earlier, the numbers are about the same.

I note that nowhere on the front of the package is there any mention of "cheese".

Best regards,

Doug
There is a mention of Cheddar.

The composition is:
Ingredients: Wheat flour, whey, salt, corn starch, corn maltodextrin, cheddar cheese (milk, cultures, salt, enzymes), sunflower oil, autolyzed yeast extract, palm oil, guar gum, lactic acid, xanthan gum, natural flavor, citric acid, niacinamide, iron (iii) phosphate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid.

Are ingredients in the order of their amount? Salt is listed as the third ingredient!

Ii, Jérôme.
There is a mention of Cheddar.
Indeed.
Yes. I believe so.

It may be that they are not permitted to use "cheese" in the product description unless there is at least a certain amount of cheese involved, or some such.

Best regards,

Doug
