Thanks - I was surprised how well it came out. I'm sure it was 20-24mm, any wider and I start to pick up parts of the wing (I'll check the exifs later).
That was from our private camera plane - twin engine, 6 seats, high-wing with an open photo window, up about 7500ft I think. We were in a turn at the time.
Later that day we returned to photograph a large portion of the island. Part of the reason for the picture was the lack of clouds. Typically clouds start around 1500-1800ft but sometimes 2000-3000ft. It makes doing aerial photography difficult sometimes as we either get lots of big shadows or we're taking pictures of clouds - neither of which the clients like and otherwise sometimes makes the photography unusable.
