Hi, Lucas,
Hi all. This is new for me. I thought I'd post a few pics and get some reactions.

You have to have the URL for each image between its own set of
tags.

But these URL's don't seem quite right for that anyway (I tried to fix 'em up, but no go).

In any case, you can only have four in a message.

And center them, or el padron will do that for you.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks, Doug.
These URLs are from current postings on Flickr. I also tried URLs of my postings on Picasa Web but they didn't result in pictures either. Are these sites both FLASH?

lucastoli's photostream at Flikr Sample Picture

Is this one of yours?

The are other ways, but I just drag the largest version of the image to a new web browser page and even a second time until there is the URL on the browser header bar. That I plce between and ]/IMG] and then center it with a title and the name of the person.

Hi Luke,

I also tried URLs of my postings on Picasa Web but they didn't result in pictures either

Right click on an image (not the thumbnail) and select 'Copy image location'. Paste this between the IMG tags and all should be well

Stuart

Hi Luke,

Welcome to OPF. For this once, I have corrected your mangled image links in your original post. You have tried posted 5 picture links but a single post can contain a maximum of 4, so here comes your 5th image. Please read this thread to learn about posting from flickr.

Lucas Toliman: Chili Pepper Dryers and a Polaroid Picture

Luke,

I looked for the details of the shot and came across you title, "Chili Pepper Dryers and a Polaroid Picture", so I have added that and I hope that's O.K.

Your images seem to share the value of "worthiness for our attention becasue of human values". They include emotions and cultural color and importance. This one particular image should be singled out for special mention. It tells so much in one glance; such delight in the faces of the two women - their spontaneous reaction to the magic image appearing before their eyes. (Which film is this? I heard that some limited film is manufactured in Mexico.) The woman on the right is the leader and get's most of our attention and we can keep moving from her eye to bright smile, wondering what the Polaroid revals, likely, themselves.

I commend you for this shot. BTW, do they get to keep the Polaroid?

Asher

I hope you might share some background on the location and what camera and lenses you choose for this work. The EXIF, BTW, has no image data and no © to protect your work.

Dear Asher,
All shots in India taken with Nikon D50, Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens. Should I use aperture read by camera or convert to 35 equivalent? Chili pepper dryers was 135/202mm, 1/400 f5.6, taken in village between Jaipur and Bundi, Rajasthan. My wife had about 20 '10 packs' of Polaroid, purchased from the internet, and we returned with no Polaroid pictures. They were our gifts, and not premeditated, a wonderful attention diverter for my photography. Indian people are wonderfully warm and willing subjects to begin with, and the Polaroids made interaction, without language, even easier.

The picture of the 3 boys was taken in Manjamai village on the Karawari river, Papua New Guinea, with the D50 18-200 VR, 70/105mm, 1/60 f5.0.

What does EXIF mean? How do I copyright? Not that I have any desire to do so.
Lucas

Cem -
Thanks for the help. I'll be more thorough in the future.
The picture of the 3 boys was taken in Manjamai village on the Karawari river, Papua New Guinea, with a Nikon D50 Nikkor 18-200 VR, 70/105mm, 1/60 f5.0. The usual drill for visiting tourists was for some of the village adults to put on a dance (the village was paid), while the youngsters, who had also been daubed, reacted in various ways, in this case shy wonderment (?), to this welcome break in their usual routine of games, chores and swimming in the river.
