Hi everyone,

I have been reading this forum for a while now and I figured it was time to join in! I have been involved in photography (amateur) for many years. I started out with my first camera, a Pentax K1000 in 1979. I used that for many years and just recently I made the jump to the “Digital” world. I did a lot of research before I made the commitment to a particular brand of digital camera. Since I already had (4) Pentax lenses, I figured that I would stay with that brand. So I purchased a Pentax K100D “Super” with the “kit” lens. I have not had much spear time to really use my new camera, but I’m sure with time I’ll be posting some of my images for your critique.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to being part of this great community!

Tom,

My greetings too! I have always loved Pentax optics. Anyone of their new "Limited" lenses can provide you with a great system for the next year!

Enjoy OPF and please show us your pictures. We need every Pentax shooter we can get!
