I'm an amateur large format film photographer who hails from Gaithersburg, MD. I was most pleased to have stumbled across this site, as it seems to take the art and craft of photography much more seriously than other photo forums. I look forward to participating.

Jim,

You are so welcome here. We have great resources in that someone is likely to have a good answer and there are a lot more who just watch, enjoy and learn from questions and what's posted. A great way to start is to share some of your favorites. Feel free to post anywhere you want and if it's in the wrong place, it will be moved to where it fits. So don't worry about making mistakes. We're media and camera agnostic although we want to represent all forms of photography here. What counts is your own wishes and needs and the path you choose.

Hi Jim. I'm a new member as well. As with you I also stumbled. Large format. Is that roll or sheet? There seems to be a few film buffs here. There are some very serious people here but they seem harmless enough. look forward to sharing some ideas and finding out about film in the digital age.
Cheers
