Just for Fun No C&C will be given: New Snow

Couple of weeks ago I went out to feed the horses and was greeted by a fresh overnight snow fall. I really enjoyed the pristine appeal and tried to capture that.

Hi Marshall,

There is nothing that beats that feeling of going out in the morning to be welcomed by a world covered under a blanket of fresh snow. It is kind of magical, isn't it?

Love the picture, but do you also have some with horses in the snow? Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Marshall Everett: New Snow

Marshall, you seem to be blessed with such beautiful skies. I do hope you will explore the HDR approach that Bart and Cem use. I'd love to see what's hidden in the clouds and what it would do for the snow.

Cheers,

Here is a shot of "Doc", he is my horse.

Marshall Everett: Where's the Hay

I was playing with the railing and the other snow topped surfaces in the shot and was not all that focused on Doc.

I'm not sure I can resonate with photos like these though....it's been a coooold cooold winter and I feel as if I'm right there! (J/k). Good capture!

My phrasing was just a joke, really. I was trying to say that your image evoked the scene powerfully.

I did understand that and am grateful for your response. I have recently left the city life for the rural Arizona life and am experiencing a true winter in over 30 years. Thank you Rachel.
