Not shooting much at all lately although I happened to have the camera with me recently.
Caught this down on the Lower East Side.

I guess this guy found a way to both walk the dog and enjoy a few moments at a local cafe.

Very good John, I like it, I bet that doggy was stressed out figuring how to pee those two spots in front of him :)

John,

This is a great start to a new series!

I like the spark of energy running through the mens faces and then to the dog. Of course that fire hydrant and the pole on the right could have great uses, LOL!

John, once again you demonstrate that what might seem mundane could be much much more.

Love the framing, love the way the 2 customers' gaze force me back to the canine.

I keep wondering, how the owner got into the cafe!! I have been thinking of various solutions he might have employed given the restrictions.

Lovely street and lovely ' life as it was '.

Regards.

Ruben, Asher, Kathy & Fahim -

Thank you very much for taking the time to look.
I appreciate the positive comments.
It's a boost I need to get me back out on the street.
Reluctantly, I've had to place photography relatively low on my priority list of late.
So much time has been dedicated to Maud, her restaurant, my career, family, the house...the list seems endless.
Not a complaint, I just miss having the time...

Hi Charlotte, Winston
Thanks for looking and taking the time to offer support!
Seems a few want a series out of this.
Kind of stumped on where to take it.
However...it may be the motivation I need...
We'll just have to wait and see...

This is not a bad shot. If only that dog was pointing off to the right of the scene and looking over it's shoulder in the same direction as the guys faces in the bar, then there would be some nice analogy shown there.
I wonder what Mr. Erwitt would say?! :)
